Puerto Vallarta Shore Excursion

Puerto Vallarta · Banderas Bay

First time in Puerto Vallarta

Orientation for cruise callers — dock at Terminal Marítima, keep PV separate from Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, and plan around honest hours ashore.

You are calling at Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is the cruise port on Banderas Bay — ships berth at Terminal Marítima (Muelles 1–3 when named). It is not Nuevo Vallarta, not a Riviera Nayarit beach town, and not Sayulita.

Puerto Vallarta cruise ships dock at Terminal Marítima (Muelles 1–3). Berth is shown only when the official calendar names Muelle 1, 2, or 3. Puerto Vallarta is not Nuevo Vallarta, not Riviera Nayarit, and not Sayulita — those are different places with different drive times. Leave honest return margin for pier exit and security; we do not invent a numeric buffer.

What to expect ashore

From the pier you are close to the Malecón and historic centre for many callers. Excursions that push to Marietas Islands, canopy courses inland, or farther Riviera Nayarit towns need longer printed windows after docking.
